Description
'Yarrabank has consistently delivered an exceptional example of vintage Australian sparkling wine. Made through a joint venture between Champagne Veuve A. Devaux and the highly regarded Yering Station.
The 2013 Yarrabank Cuvee Brut Sparkling is made in the ''Methode Traditionnelle' and it's clear to see the French influence here. Aromas of citrus apple and bread-dough leads into a complex palate displaying zesty cool-climate fruit, creaminess and subtle yeast influence.
Made in the traditional fashion, this was aged for 5 years on lees. The dosage is in check at 5g/l, the texture ample and creamy, with plenty of toast, iodine and baked apple notes lending credence to a salubrious bready style. Plenty of colour already, yet impressive in its weight, vitality and detail.'
