About This Wine:

Warrabilla Small Batch Fiano is a vibrant and textural expression of Fiano from Melville’s Vineyard, east of Rutherglen. Originally from southern Italy, Fiano is particularly well suited to warm climates, retaining its natural acidity while developing appealing stone fruit, almond blossom and subtle honeyed characters.

After crushing and temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine was divided into three parcels: one briefly matured in new French oak, another kept on full lees with regular stirring, and the third retained in stainless steel. This combination adds texture and complexity while preserving the variety’s natural freshness.

Pale gold in colour, the wine opens with lifted citrus and almond blossom, followed by flavours of lemon, nashi pear and white peach with subtle nougat and a gently mealy texture. Bright, energetic and beautifully layered, racy acidity drives the palate through to a long, mouth-watering finish.
