About This Wine:

Warrabilla Reserve Malbec is a beautifully expressive Malbec with deep roots in Rutherglen, where the variety has been grown since the mid-19th century. The fruit comes from Warrabilla’s three-acre block in Parola’s Vineyard, producing a distinctly regional and varietal expression.

The bouquet is rich and savoury, with blood plum, black cherry and boysenberry layered with fragrant clove, woody herbs, olive and earthy undertones. The palate is generous and concentrated, with classic chewy Malbec tannins providing texture and structure, while bright fruit keeps the wine fresh and balanced.

Matured for 10 months in French oak puncheons, including a small proportion of new oak, the wine has gained additional depth and structural polish without losing its vibrant fruit character. Full-flavoured, savoury and beautifully textured, this is a compelling Rutherglen Malbec with plenty of personality.
