Vincent Latour Meursault Les Grand Charrons

Grapes are lightly crushed before pressing, followed by fermentation in oak barrels (10% new). The wine is aged on fine lees for 12 months, then spends an additional 4 to 6 months in stainless steel vats. No bâtonnage is performed, preserving the wine’s natural precision and freshness.

In the glass, it shows a vibrant golden hue with brilliant clarity—an expression of purity and youth. The nose is complex and elegant, offering ripe stone fruits like peach and apricot, lifted by citrus, white flowers, and the hallmark Meursault notes of hazelnut and almond. Subtle touches of vanilla and toast from the oak add depth without overshadowing the fruit.

The palate is rich and full-bodied, with a creamy texture balanced by bright acidity. Flavours of lemon curd, ripe pear, and white peach are layered with gentle minerality and a long, persistent finish. Oak influence brings hints of spice, vanilla, and a whisper of smokiness, all finely integrated.

Elegant and expressive, this wine finishes with finesse—lingering minerality and a refreshing lift that speaks to its balanced structure and ageing potential.
