Taylors Fine Tawny Port

Taylor’s Fine Tawny Port is a smooth, mellow expression of the traditional tawny style, blended from wines aged in oak casks for up to three years in Taylor’s historic cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. The result is a beautifully balanced port with gentle complexity and warmth.

In the glass, it shows a pale brick hue with an amber rim. The nose is inviting, with ripe berry fruit layered over notes of butterscotch, fig, prune, and hints of roasted nuts and spice. The palate is smooth and rounded, offering flavours of strawberry jam, caramelised fruit, and toasted almond.

Versatile and elegant, this is perfect served slightly chilled as an aperitif, or paired with desserts featuring almonds, berries, or dark chocolate. It also complements blue cheeses wonderfully and makes a superb end to any meal, especially alongside roasted nuts or a cheese platter.
