In the vineyard there is an emphasis on minimal intervention and low yields. A similar approach is taken in the winery, ferment with natural yeasts and bottle with low dosage in order to exalt the qualities of the vineyard site. This Grande Vintage is an assemblage of the best parcels of fruits that provide freshness, elegance, balance and intensity.
Our 2010 Grande Vintage was tiraged on the 18th of August, five months post-harvest. Nine years were spent on lees until disgorging, with a dosage of 4g/l added at this time. Extra time under cork has allowed gentle development.
