Soumah Single Vineyard Hexham Chardonnay

The Yarra Valley continues to lead the way for Australia’s new wave of Chardonnay, and this wine is a tribute to that legacy. Sourced from a standout single vineyard, it combines premium clones with meticulous viticulture to deliver a refined, modern expression. Handpicked and whole-bunch pressed, it underwent wild fermentation in French barriques and puncheons, followed by eight months’ maturation on lees with partial malolactic fermentation for added texture and finesse.

Aromas of citrus and melon meet hints of struck match and brioche. The palate is layered and elegant, with vibrant fruit, gentle oak influence, and a silky, creamy mouthfeel. The finish is long, fresh and zesty.

Perfect with grilled shrimp or chicken in citrus vinaigrette, and a side of honey-roasted carrots and parsnips.
