About This Wine:

Sittella Avant Garde Albarino is a vibrant and elegant expression of Albariño, a variety celebrated for its aromatic intensity, natural freshness and refined acidity.

Originally from Galicia in north-west Spain, Albariño is closely related to other high-acid aromatic varieties such as Riesling and Petit Manseng, making it perfectly suited to producing fresh, expressive and food-friendly white wines.

Hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed before fermentation in stainless steel, the winemaking approach is focused on preserving purity, finesse and balance.

Bright and lifted on the nose, the wine offers layers of lemon, lime, grapefruit and ripe pear, with subtle herbal and savoury nuances adding complexity. The palate is beautifully composed, combining vibrant citrus flavours with refreshing acidity and a clean, energetic finish.

Crisp, elegant and full of character, this is a beautifully refreshing white that captures the charm of Albariño with a distinctly modern Australian touch.
