Shinas Estate The Verdict Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful yet polished Cabernet Sauvignon crafted in a bold, modern style. Produced in limited quantities by Shinas Estate, it combines richness, texture and concentration with impressive freshness and balance.

A long, mild growing season allowed the fruit to ripen slowly, building intense flavour while retaining vibrant natural acidity. The grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness, gently crushed and fermented in open-top stainless steel tanks before spending around three weeks on skins to build depth and structure.

Following fermentation, the wine was matured for 24 months in seasoned 300L French and American oak barrels, adding subtle complexity and softness while allowing the fruit to remain front and centre. The result is a deeply flavoured Cabernet showing layers of ripe blackcurrant, dark berries and cassis alongside hints of cedar, spice and mocha oak.

Full-bodied and plush, the palate delivers the richness and velvety texture often associated with modern Napa-style Cabernet, yet with freshness and structure that keep the wine composed and highly drinkable.
