Shinas Estate The Guilty Shiraz is a bold, richly flavoured Shiraz that helped establish the reputation of Shinas Estate and its founder, George Shinas. Originally produced from a tiny vineyard block planted in 1898, the wine quickly gained a cult following for its remarkable concentration, depth and value. As demand grew beyond the estate’s tiny production, carefully selected Barossa Valley fruit was incorporated while maintaining the wine’s signature richness and power.

Produced from very low-yielding vineyards, the fruit is fully destemmed and fermented in stainless steel before spending a short period on skins for gentle extraction. The wine is then basket pressed into seasoned 300L French and American oak barrels, where it matures for 24 months to soften the structure and build complexity without overwhelming the fruit.

Deep, plush and generous in style, The Guilty delivers concentrated dark fruit flavours layered with spice, mocha and subtle oak richness. The palate is smooth and full-bodied with velvety tannins, impressive weight and the kind of opulence Barossa Shiraz lovers gravitate towards.
