The Para Tawny Collection is at the heart of Seppeltsfield’s celebrated fortified range, a tradition synonymous with luxurious Australian fortified wine for more than a century. Alongside its iconic 100 Year Old Single Vintage Tawny, Seppeltsfield releases a 21 Year Old Single Vintage Tawny each year, offering a more immediate expression of the individual vintage within the distinctive Seppeltsfield house style.

The 21 Year Old Para Tawny is a single-vintage wine made from carefully selected parcels of the 2005 vintage. Drawn from barrel and bottled to preserve the character of the season, it was matured in well-seasoned oak hogsheads and fortified with aromatic, creamy brandy spirit. More than two decades of maturation have brought together richness, spice and remarkable complexity while retaining a sense of balance and freshness.

Medium tawny in colour with glowing amber hues, the wine opens with lifted aromas of almond nougat and dried citrus. The palate is medium-weight and beautifully balanced, with persistent flavours of toasted almond and dried orange alongside a luscious crème caramel richness. Long, refined and quietly complex, it is superb with rich, nutty cheeses such as Comté or simply alongside almond biscotti. Once opened, store in a cool, dark place to maximise shelf life.
