Seppeltsfield Para 10 Year Old Grand Tawny 750ml

At the heart of Seppeltsfield’s celebrated fortified range, the Para Tawny Collection has been synonymous with luxurious Australian fortified wine for more than a century. Named after the river that winds through the Barossa landscape, Para Grand Tawny has a minimum average blended age of 10 years, placing it within the Australian Fortified Classification of Grand — a mature style known for its richness, complexity and length.

Para Grand Tawny is crafted in Seppeltsfield’s distinctive house style, combining a medium-bodied profile with aromatic notes of lightly toasted almonds, almond skins, praline and vanilla nougat. Fortified with creamy, aromatic brandy spirit, the wine develops layers of spice and nutty complexity through extended maturation in seasoned oak. A modified solera system of 2,000L vats is used to maintain both consistency and freshness, with individual components aged in smaller oak casks until they reach 10 years of age before being carefully selected and blended into the solera.

Rich mahogany in colour with glowing amber hues, it is beautifully poised between richness and freshness. The palate is medium-bodied and lingering, with toasted nuts, praline and developed aged characters framed by fine, warming brandy spirit. Delicious with mature Australian cheddar or alongside pistachio and almond cake with citrus syrup. Once opened, store in a cool, dark place to maximise its shelf life.
