Rusden Black Guts Shiraz

The Rusden Vineyard, set on the deep sandy soils of Vine Vale at the base of the eastern Barossa Ranges, is a site rich in history and character. Once part of the Bethany Sandscrub woodland, the land was cleared by early pioneers and is now home to old vines that are carefully hand-tended using traditional methods. With a minimalist winemaking approach, the wines reflect both place and variety with honesty and finesse.

This release offers a dense, expressive nose filled with dark fruits, graphite and spice. On the palate, layers of dark cherry, plum and hints of dark chocolate are seamlessly integrated with well-judged oak. There's impressive depth and concentration, balanced by silky tannins and bright acidity that lend energy and elegance. A fine example of New World fruit harnessed with Old World restraint and craftsmanship.
