Rocche Costamagna Barolo DOCG Rocche dell’Annunziata

The Nebbiolo for this wine comes exclusively from Rocche dell'Annunziata, one of La Morra’s most historic and celebrated crus. Vinification follows a traditional approach, with an extended maceration of around three weeks to coax out depth and complexity. Maturation then takes place in large oak barrels for 18 months, allowing the wine to develop gracefully while retaining its signature elegance.

In the glass, it shines ruby red with delicate garnet hues at the rim. The nose is intense and layered, offering a tapestry of wilted roses, raspberries and small red berries in spirit, alongside notes of undergrowth and wild herbs. A distinctive balsamic lift of eucalyptus and resin weaves through, balanced by hints of licorice adding depth and intrigue.

On the palate, it is fresh, savoury and refined, with sweet, polished tannins providing structure without heaviness. Long and persistent, this is a wine of true finesse, carrying its flavours through to a graceful, lingering finish.
