Praeter Strange Fog Nebbiolo

Sourced from the Malakoff Vineyard at 320 metres above sea level, the fruit is 100% destemmed and handled with a gentle, traditional approach. Fermented using only pump-overs to preserve purity and finesse, the wine spends 22 days on skins before maturing on fine lees for 11 months in seasoned large-format oak puncheons, allowing the vineyard character to shine.

The bouquet is lifted and expressive, revealing aromas of rose petals, wild cherry and red currant layered with orange peel, dried herbs and delicate spice. The palate is vibrant and finely detailed, combining bright red fruits with savoury complexity, lively acidity and Nebbiolo's signature fine, persistent tannins.

Elegant, structured and beautifully balanced, the wine finishes with impressive length and mineral freshness. A modern Australian Nebbiolo that remains true to Old World traditions while expressing the distinctive character of its Victorian terroir, with excellent cellaring potential.
