Pooley Elizabeth Anne Chardonnay

The fruit was hand-picked and chilled overnight to 5°C before being whole bunch pressed to tank and settled. Fermentation took place in two Marcel Cadet French oak barriques — one new, one one-year-old — followed by 11 months of barrel maturation. Around 50% of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation.

This is a robust, classic expression of Chardonnay. Aromas of freshly churned butter and macadamia flow onto the palate, where the hallmark acidity and elegance of Cooinda Vale bring balance and length. A standout from an exceptional vintage — a fitting tribute.
