Ottelia Pinot Gris

A fresh and beautifully textural Pinot Gris from South Australia’s Limestone Coast, blending fruit from the Zanello family’s vineyards in Robe (70%) and the Ellis family’s vineyards in Mount Gambier (30%). Influenced by the cool maritime climate and moderating effects of the Southern Ocean, these sites provide ideal conditions for developing expressive fruit, natural acidity and the variety’s appealing textural character.

The nose offers inviting aromas of fresh green apple and nashi pear, lifted by lemon zest and a subtle hint of herbal aniseed. Apple and citrus flavours flow onto a silky, layered palate, with gentle spice and a generous mid-palate balanced by bright, refreshing acidity. Elegant yet approachable, this is a vibrant and versatile Pinot Gris with lovely texture and freshness, equally suited to relaxed lunches, seafood and Asian-inspired dishes.
