Ochota Barrels Texture Like Sun Sector Red is a juicy, vibrant and wonderfully free-spirited red blend, combining 38% Pinot Noir, 31% Grenache, 15.5% Gewürztraminer and 15.5% Pinot Meunier. Fruit from the Adelaide Hills (69%) and McLaren Vale (31%) was picked over a three-month period before being matured for 90 days in seasoned French oak.

Lusciously red and supple on entry, the palate builds through vibrant damson and cassis, with finely shaped tannins and subtle cigar-box complexity adding depth. Despite its layers of flavour, the wine remains wonderfully fresh, juicy and incredibly drinkable.

Long, fleshy and full of character, this is an effortlessly enjoyable Ochota Barrels red that works just as well with a picnic as it does alongside a great meal.
