Nocturne Forrest Vineyard Chardonnay

From a tightly selected parcel on the middle ridge of Forrest Vineyard in Wilyabrup, this Margaret River Chardonnay captures the unmistakable energy of the Gin Gin clone. Planted on deep coastal silver-grey sands just 3km from the ocean, the low-yielding site delivers remarkable natural acidity and structural precision. Handpicked fruit was whole-bunch pressed directly to puncheons, wild fermented and matured on gross lees without sulphur, building depth, tension and character.

A trademark burst of flint and savoury funk leads the way, layered with ripe white stone fruit, brown lime and passionfruit nuances. This vintage carries a little more flesh and generosity, yet retains its signature drive — vibrant, textural and intensely expressive, finishing with saline tension and mouth-watering persistence.
