[Mystery #3] 2022 Premium Single Vineyard Barossa Shiraz

This patch was originally known as the ‘Chenin Blanc’ vineyard. The vines changed from Chenin Blanc to premium Shiraz in 1993.

Notes of blackberry, blueberry and a touch of clove on the nose make for a robust and well-structured Shiraz. Showcasing flavours of dark fruits, chocolate and a hint of spice, the wine concludes with a smooth, lingering finish with well-integrated tannins and a touch of toasted oak.

"A bright, quiet opulent display of Doris plum, blueberry and boysenberry fruits with hints of cedar, vanilla bean, dark chocolate, brandied fruits, violets and earth. Full bodied, with very much a blueberry pie vibe on the palate, fine, gypsum-dust tannins and some toasty oak on the fade out".
