Focused on producing the perfect Coonawarra reds, a commitment to quality has evolved, with vines hand pruned and managed to produce very low yields. This has ensured the berries harvested are rich in flavour and character. Softness and elegance of this wine have been enhanced by maturation in small French oak casks.

This hand-selected parcel of Shiraz fruit delivers a medium-bodied, fruit-driven wine with complex notes of dark berries with spice and subtle oak notes. With distinctive florals on the nose and velvety tannins, this wine delivers an intense, yet elegant lingering finish.

Aromas of dark plum, blackberry and black cherry have evolved into layers of savoury spice, dried herbs, cedar, leather and subtle earthy complexity, with gentle oak notes now beautifully integrated. The palate is led by evolved dark fruits, spice and savoury depth. Medium to full-bodied, it shows excellent balance and regional character, with silky, well-resolved tannins supporting a refined and harmonious frame. Hints of dark berry, cocoa, cedar and dried spice unfold through the mid-palate, while the wine’s maturity brings softness, complexity and calm confidence. The finish is long, polished and beautifully resolved, showcasing the benefits of careful cellaring.
