About This Wine:

Mulline Portarlington Pinot Noir is a single-vineyard Pinot Noir sourced from the Nurringa Park Vineyard on the Bellarine Peninsula. Planted in 1994 to the MV6 clone, the vineyard’s sandy loam soils over dark clay and ironstone contribute both structure and savoury mineral detail to the wine.

Crafted with 30% whole bunch fermentation and matured in 30% new French oak, the wine balances fragrant lift and fine spice with purity of fruit and textural depth. The whole bunch component brings added complexity and subtle savoury character, while the oak remains finely integrated and supportive.

Elegant yet quietly powerful, this Pinot Noir reflects the cool maritime influence of Portarlington, delivering freshness, structure and layered complexity in a refined Geelong style.
