Moorooduc McIntyre Pinot Noir

Hand-harvested and 100% destemmed, this Pinot Noir underwent wild yeast fermentation with 20 days on skins, followed by natural malolactic fermentation in barrel. It matured for 10 months in French oak (10% new) and was bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve purity and texture.

Pale ruby in hue, the nose is lifted and complex, offering macerated ripe strawberry, red and black cherry, just-cooked rhubarb, and delicate rose and violet. Subtle layers of coriander seed, cumin, thyme, wild mint, and a hint of cocoa add depth. The palate is vibrant and crunchy with red cherries, rhubarb, and earthy mushroom undertones. Firm acidity and velvety tannins frame a long, juicy finish. Youthful and precise—perfect with Peking duck pancakes or a prime fillet steak.
