Mitchelton Gabriella Possum Heathcote Shiraz

Crafted from premium fruit grown in Mitchelton’s Heathcote vineyard, this Shiraz is part of a special collaboration celebrating the vivid artistry of Gabriella Possum Nungurrayi. The label features Grandmother’s Country (2020), a powerful expression of her connection to culture, Country and family — themes echoed in her storytelling of Bush Tucker, Women’s Ceremonies and Seven Sisters Dreaming.

In the glass, the wine shows a deep, youthful purple-red hue. Aromatics are vibrant and expressive, with lifted red berries, black cherry, and a twist of pepper spice, wrapped in finely woven oak. The palate flows with plush red berry fruit, hints of Christmas pudding and warm spice, supported by a supple mouthfeel and beautifully balanced oak integration. Tannins are fine and talc-like, lending shape and poise to a long, harmonious finish. A modern Heathcote Shiraz with generosity, elegance and a sense of purpose.
