Mewstone Pinot Noir

Sourced from two estate parcels planted in 2011 and 2018, totalling just 1.8 hectares, with ten Pinot Noir clones across duplex soils formed on Jurassic dolerite. All fruit is hand-picked from the Mewstone vineyard.

Wild fermentation with a 25% whole-bunch component (ranging from 0–55% across ferments), followed by pressing to French barriques (35% new) for ten months' élevage.

This is a Pinot of beautiful composure — cool-climate precision meets ripe, expressive fruit. Forest berries and sweet herbs wrap around a fine, velvety tannin frame. Aromatic and fresh with notes of red cherry, sweet beetroot, and hints of undergrowth and twig, it’s both pure and earthy, squeaky clean on the palate with a naturally unfiltered haze in the glass. A quietly confident, superb Tasmanian Pinot.
