Maxwell Silver Hammer Shiraz

A rich and approachable McLaren Vale Shiraz with plenty of depth and generosity. Individual batches of Shiraz are vinified and matured separately in French and American oak for 15–18 months before being blended, allowing Maxwell to achieve consistency of flavour, structure and balance from vintage to vintage.

Deep ruby-garnet in colour, the wine opens with generous aromas of dark red fruits, luscious oak and warming mixed spice. The medium to full-bodied palate is packed with blackberry and dark cherry, complemented by subtle oak spice and vibrant acidity. Silky, well-integrated tannins provide a smooth, seamless texture, carrying the wine through a long and satisfying finish.

Vibrant yet concentrated, complex yet effortlessly drinkable, this is classic McLaren Vale Shiraz with plenty of flavour and excellent balance.
