Warner Vineyard Beechworth Shiraz, carefully tended by vigneron Peter Graham, showcases the blue fruit and stony nuances of Beechworth’s cool-climate terroir. Fermented to highlight varietal purity and matured mainly in French barriques, with one Appalachian hogshead, it delivers a medium-weight profile of plum, cassis, chocolate-licorice, and subtle lavender. The palate is smooth and supple, leading to a long, lingering finish. While approachable now, this expressive Shiraz will reward patience with up to a decade of careful cellaring.
