About This Wine:

Levantine Hill Levant Rosé is a serious, textural rosé that bridges the traditional styles of southern France and northern Spain, combining freshness and vibrancy with remarkable depth and savoury complexity.

Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre and Carignan were co-fermented and matured together, while the remaining varieties were handled separately. Around two-thirds of the red grapes were whole-bunch pressed, with the balance coming from saignée after crushing. The wines were matured primarily in stainless steel, with portions aged in concrete, large oak casks and smaller barrels on lees to build texture and complexity.

The bouquet is wonderfully layered, unfolding with aromas of guava, musk, rosewater and pot pourri, alongside quince, lemon verbena, thyme and coriander seed. The palate is deep and generous, with flavours of wild strawberry, bay leaf, Turkish Delight, nectarine stone and blood orange, all carried by bright acidity and a fine, savoury tannin structure.

More substantial and complex than a typical rosé, Levant delivers impressive volume, length and texture while retaining its freshness. Equally suited to long lunches in the sun or richer winter dishes, this is a rosé that deserves to be taken seriously.
