Levantine Hill Levant Chardonnay

Levantine Hill Levant Chardonnay is a beautifully detailed and expressive Chardonnay, combining vibrant citrus fruit with savoury complexity, fine texture and mineral precision.

The fruit was whole-bunch pressed before overnight settling and fermentation in a combination of large-format foudres and smaller barrels. Matured on settled lees with minimal stirring, a portion of the barrels underwent full malolactic fermentation, adding richness and complexity while retaining the wine's natural freshness.

The bouquet is bright and layered, offering lemon, lime and green papaya alongside lemon verbena, gardenia and ginger, with a savoury thread of fennel and flinty minerality. The palate is deep and concentrated, revealing lemon tart, lime pith and almond over a fine line of integrated acidity and subtle mineral tension.

Long, complex and beautifully balanced, this is a sophisticated Chardonnay with both richness and restraint, finishing with lingering citrus, flint and savoury notes.
