Matured predominantly in small-format ex-Port casks, it shows beautiful concentration and depth without sacrificing elegance. Aromas of rich malt with caramelised orchard fruits, orange peel, sweet spices, and a gentle waft of Tasmanian peat. The palate is smooth and full-bodied with layers of toffee, dried apricot, dark chocolate, vanilla bean, and a warm, honeyed richness. The Port cask influence adds plush red-fruit notes and rounded sweetness. The finish is long, soft, and warming with lingering spice and subtle oak.
