Jean-Paul Trijsburg Syrah

Jean-Paul Trijsburg Syrah is a cool-climate single-vineyard expression from near Sunbury, crafted from hand-harvested fruit picked at the end of March. The grapes were fully de-stemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts, then gently pressed in a traditional basket press before maturing for 12 months in French barriques.

The palate is finely poised and medium-bodied, shaped by bright cherry fruit and a savoury herbal edge of sage. Subtle oak influence adds gentle spice and structure without dominating the fruit. Fresh, detailed and quietly expressive, this Syrah captures both cool-climate elegance and understated complexity.
