About This Wine:

Jean-Marie Fourrier took the reins of his family domaine in 1994 and has since become one of Burgundy’s most respected minimal-intervention vignerons. While Fourrier is famed for his Premier Cru reds from Gevrey-Chambertin, he also crafts tiny volumes of white — including this old-vine Bourgogne Blanc from a single parcel planted in 1963 near Puligny-Meursault.

Hand-harvested fruit, whole-cluster pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in seasoned oak and stainless steel. Aged on fine lees without fining or filtration, preserving purity, texture and a precision that mirrors the style of Fourrier’s top cuvées.

Pale straw in colour. Aromas of pear, apple and white blossom with subtle hazelnut and saline minerality. The palate is lively and refined — white peach, citrus zest and a sleek, mineral line. Fresh, tense and persistent.

Excellent with oysters, scallops, sashimi, shellfish risotto, creamy chicken and soft goat cheeses.
