Imbue Distillery Angel's Share Maze Whisky 700ml

Aged for 2.5 years in x-Bourbon and Australian Rye Solera barrels and designed with American whisky enthusiasts in mind, this blend of Australian grains begins with appealing toasted cereal aromas, with the rye cask contributing a subtle oiliness (or is it the corn?). Semi-sweet grain flavours and herbal tea suggestions turn nutty, spicy, and malt-like. It falls midway between a malted rye and a premium Speyside single malt. 46% alc./vol. The resulting notes include cedar, fresh leather, and vanilla. The palate consists of honey nut cornflakes and praline. Finish with pepper and anise myrtle.
