Hughes & Hughes Riesling

Crafted from fruit grown across the North West, Derwent Valley, and D’Entrecasteaux Channel, picked between 11.8–12.5° Baume. Grapes were whole bunch pressed or given 12–24 hours of skin contact before a slow, natural fermentation in stainless steel and oak. Fermentation was halted at the perfect point of sugar–acid balance, with the wine matured on lees before being bottled, lightly filtered and unfined.

The result is a beautifully poised Riesling that weaves vibrant acidity and a delicate thread of residual sweetness into a textural, finely balanced palate. Elegant, expressive, and distinctly Tasmanian.
