Hentley Farm Cabernet Sauvignon

Set among the rolling hills along Greenock Creek at Seppeltsfield, Hentley Farm founder Keith Hentschke took a bold approach by selecting three hillside sites to plant Cabernet. With easterly aspects and minimal topsoil, these vineyards produce bright, aromatic fruit, resulting in a delicately balanced wine distinctive to the estate.

The fruit is destemmed and matured in seasoned oak for nine months, with natural malolactic fermentation enhancing texture and integration.

The wine shows vibrant aromas and flavours of blackberry, boysenberry and blackcurrant, layered with hints of rosemary and mint. Fresh and lively, the palate offers fine structure, balance and persistence, delivering a refined expression of Barossa Cabernet.
