About This Wine:

Henschke Peggy's Hill Riesling is a beautifully pure and elegant expression of Eden Valley Riesling, named after Peggy Hill, the local landmark situated on the range between the villages of Eden Valley and Keyneton. It continues the Henschke family's long-standing tradition of crafting exceptional Riesling from this renowned cool-climate region, a legacy that began with fourth-generation winemaker Cyril Henschke in 1961.

Sourced from a selection of trusted Eden Valley growers, the wine is made from vines ranging from 10 to 70 years old, planted on low-vigour ancient Cambrian soils at around 500 metres altitude. The region's continental climate, high elevation and sandy loam soils provide ideal conditions for producing Riesling with remarkable freshness, purity and longevity.

The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and bottled shortly after vintage to preserve its delicate aromatic character and vibrant fruit expression.

Pale lemon with green hues, the bouquet is bright and refined, revealing aromas of citrus blossom, lime zest and jasmine, complemented by white peach, lemon sorbet and subtle pear skin. The palate is crisp and focused, offering flavours of lemon, lime and white nectarine supported by fine mineral texture and refreshing natural acidity.

Elegant, precise and beautifully balanced, Peggy's Hill Riesling finishes with impressive length and purity. A classic Eden Valley Riesling that showcases Henschke's commitment to freshness, finesse and exceptional regional expression.
