Heartland Directors Cut Cabernet Sauvignon

Sourced exclusively from the finest old-vine Cabernet vineyards in Langhorne Creek, Directors’ Cut is a bold and expressive red that speaks to its pedigree. Night-harvested to preserve freshness, the fruit underwent a cool 7-day fermentation with Rhône isolate yeast and was hand-plunged three times daily for optimal extraction. Maturation followed in 75% new French oak hogsheads for 12 months, adding depth and polish.

In the glass, it wears a deep ruby robe with flickers of purple. Aromas of blackcurrant compote, cocoa, and dried plum lead into a rich palate layered with intense black raspberry, whispers of leather, and a long, savoury finish.

Refined yet powerful, this Cabernet will build complexity and stature over the next decade. A classic in the making.
