Hahndorf Hill Gru Gruner Veltliner

At Hahndorf Hill, we make four different types of Gruner, the most popular of which is Gru. Previous vintages of Gru Gruner Veltliner have received numerous accolades, including the 2019 vintage, which was named the best Gruner Veltliner at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2020, and the 2020 vintage, which was named the best Gruner Veltliner at the London Wine Competition 2021. Try this lovely 2022 vintage, which has a scented nose of nectarine, peach, and lime peel. The palate bursts with crimson grapefruit, guava, sliced pear, and spice, all encased in a luscious acidity. The finish is long and flavorful, with fascinating layers of great texture and spice. All Asian cuisine, white meats, seafood, and vegetarian dishes go well with it.
