Giant Steps Yarra Valley Chardonnay

Sourced equally from the upper and lower Yarra Valley, this Chardonnay reflects the region’s elegance and energy. The grapes are chilled overnight before whole bunch pressing, with the juice transferred directly into 500L French oak puncheons (15% new) for natural fermentation. A small portion undergoes malolactic fermentation, adding subtle texture and complexity. The result is a light, green-gold wine with aromas of fresh orchard and stone fruits, pink grapefruit, and orange blossom. Hints of struck match and warm ginger biscuit add intrigue, while the palate is both concentrated and finely poised, finishing long and pure.
