Gala Estate Almanack Pinot Noir

A bright, fresh and beautifully approachable Pinot Noir offering excellent value. Medium-bodied and packed with juicy forest fruits, it carries a subtle smoky savoury note that adds complexity without taking away from its vibrant character. Fine tannins and refreshing acidity keep the palate lively and balanced, making this an especially versatile red.

Crafted from a single Pinot Noir 115 clone using traditional techniques, the fruit was fermented with a considered combination of destemmed berries and whole bunches. Hand-plunged during fermentation and gently pressed to capture ripe tannins and the character of the vintage, the wine was then matured on lees for five months in seasoned French puncheons.

Juicy, fresh and effortlessly drinkable, this is a great summer red served slightly chilled, and works beautifully with pizza, pasta and other casual dishes.
