Gala Estate Black Label Chardonnay

Gala Estate's history has now spanned 200 years. In 1821, brothers John and Adam Amos arrived in lovely Van Diemen's Land with their families. They named it Gala for the area of Scotland from where they hailed - Gala Shiels - and began farming sheep and cattle. It wasn't until 2009 that Gala Estate became a vineyard. Gala Estate vineyards thrive among five natural forest reserves and four wild rivers on Tasmania's magnificent East Coast. The current release of chardonnay is a beautiful golden yellow with green tinges at the rim that catch the sun. The nose gives scents of rich stone fruits mixed with a hint of butter, hazelnut, damp clay, and vanillin notes.
