Gala Estate Almanack Pinot Gris

Fresh, generous and beautifully textural, this Pinot Gris combines ripe pome fruit with subtle spice and a pleasing richness on the palate. A short period of skin contact adds extra depth and texture, while five months of lees maturation builds further complexity and length.

The fruit was destemmed and left on skins for 12 hours before being pressed to tank for settling. Individual vineyard parcels were fermented with carefully selected yeasts to enhance aromatic complexity and develop a luscious mouthfeel, before being matured on lees for five months. Vibrant and supple, with excellent length and a gently lingering finish, this is a Pinot Gris that offers both freshness and satisfying palate weight.
