Gala Estate Almanack Chardonnay

Fresh, aromatic and beautifully approachable, this Chardonnay combines crisp lemon rind and white peach with bright, lively acidity. There’s a pleasing Chablis-like freshness to the wine, while its time on lees gives the palate a soft, luscious texture and added depth.

The fruit was destemmed and left on skins for 12 hours before being pressed to tank for settling. Individual vineyard parcels were fermented with carefully selected yeasts to enhance aromatic complexity and mouthfeel, then matured on lees for five months to build texture and length.

Vibrant, supple and refreshing, this is an easy-drinking Chardonnay with enough texture and character to pair beautifully with seafood, fresh salads or a selection of cheeses.
