Fowles Ladies Who Shoot Their Lunch Chardonnay

This Chardonnay is sourced from two of Victoria’s most distinctive cool-climate regions — the Stathbogie Ranges and Yarra Valley — combining old-vine depth with mineral tension.

Fruit from the 35+ year old Greenstone vineyard delivers generous mid-palate peach and stone fruit, while the high-altitude Strathbogie component (Upton Run Block 16) adds precision and mineral drive. Hand-picked in the early morning and wild fermented in oak, the wine spent 12 months on lees, building texture and complexity without losing freshness.

Expect aromas of white peach, citrus and subtle cedar spice, followed by a seamless palate of stone fruit, lemon and lime. Soft, gently buttery and mouth-coating, with fine acidity and a long, elegant, mineral finish. A classic modern Australian Chardonnay — poised between richness and restraint.
