Lowestoft La Maison Pinot Noir

Crafted with a minimalist approach to honour site and fruit, this Pinot Noir was hand-picked and gently de-stemmed into small 1.5-tonne open fermenters, with up to 100% whole cluster inclusion. Indigenous fermentation began without additions, with gentle pump-overs twice daily to wet the cap and avoid over-extraction. After 21 days on skins, the wine was pressed directly to 500L French oak puncheons (25% new) and matured undisturbed for 13 months before bottling.

Bright, deep crimson in colour, the nose is intensely aromatic—layered with dark cherry, black tea, dried sage and amaro. The palate is seductive yet structured, with supple red fruits wrapping around a fine core of graphite, bergamot and orange peel. Whole bunch tannins provide texture and elegance, while subtle oak spice and vibrant acidity deliver finesse and a long, poised finish. A Pinot of detail, depth, and quiet power.
