Fetherston Magnolia Albarino

Sourced from the Bettio Vineyard in Victoria’s King Valley, this single-vineyard Albariño was crafted with precision and care. After harvest, the fruit spent 18 hours on skins before being pressed with full solids and fermented in neutral French puncheons, then aged on lees for eight months to build texture and complexity.

Lemon yellow in the glass, it opens with fragrant aromas of nashi pear, honeysuckle, and finger lime, lifted by a hint of tarragon. The palate is vibrant and mouth-watering, showing lemon sorbet, sea spray salinity, and bright, racy acidity over a fine mineral backbone. A subtle lick of spice from skin contact and an intriguing umami note carry through to a long, savoury finish.
