Domaine St Patrice Vieilles Vignes Chateauneuf-du-Pape Rouge

The richness of Domaine St Patrice lies in the remarkable diversity of its terroirs — white, red and yellow clays, rolled galets and limestone — bringing both depth and nuance to the wine.

A blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah, with 30–60% whole bunch inclusion depending on the variety, the grapes undergo a gentle five-week maceration and fermentation in concrete vats. The wine is then aged for 14 months across concrete, foudres, demi-muids and French oak barrels, before bottling in spring and resting a further year in cellar prior to release.

The result is a fresh, intense Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Raspberry, cherry and garrigue lead a pure, expressive nose. The palate is bright yet full, with silky tannins and a long, elegant finish marked by red fruits, spice and delicate florals.
