Delinquente Roko Montepulciano

Delinquente Roko Montepulciano is a rustic, generous and effortlessly drinkable expression of Montepulciano, sourced from the Bassham family’s organic vineyard in South Australia’s Riverland. Fruit from two separate blocks was harvested a week apart, fermented individually and blended just before bottling.

Medium-bodied but full of character, the nose is packed with brambly dark fruit, earthy savoury notes and hints of charcuterie, paprika and white pepper. The palate is juicy and vibrant, with generous dark fruit supported by lively acidity and firm, forward tannins that give the wine plenty of shape.

Rustic, charming and wonderfully versatile, this is the kind of red that rewards generous pours and enthusiastic slurping. An absolute all-rounder with plenty of personality and immediate drinkability.
