Delinquente Jaybird Bianco Macerato

Delinquente Jaybird Bianco Macerato is a vibrant and characterful skin-contact white that strikes the perfect balance between easy drinking and serious intrigue. A blend of Fiano, Chardonnay, Arinto, Vermentino and Malvasia, it combines bright natural acidity, aromatic lift and gentle phenolic texture.

Each parcel was fermented separately, with Fiano and Chardonnay pressed directly off skins, while Arinto, Vermentino and Malvasia underwent up to 14 days of skin contact. The individual wines were allowed to complete malolactic fermentation before settling and being blended just prior to bottling.

The nose is wonderfully expressive, bursting with canned lychee, orange blossom and fresh florals. Juicy pink grapefruit and briny lemon lead onto a crunchy, savoury palate, with gentle herbal tannins adding texture and persistence. Bright Arinto acidity and Fiano's floral, textural character bring everything together.

Fresh, slightly wild and seriously delicious, Jaybird Bianco Macerato is an approachable introduction to skin-contact whites with plenty of personality.
