Deep Woods Reserve Chardonnay

One of Margaret River's and Australia's most well-known and geographically distinctive Chardonnays is the Deep Woods Reserve. It is organised, strong, alluring, and sophisticated. This Reserve Chardonnay is the eighth vintage of this contemporary, house-style wine. It exquisitely exemplifies the power of the Chardonnay programme and is currently among Deep Woods' most recognisable wines. The nose is rich and seductive, with notes of white peach, freshly toasted brioche with butter, waxy lemon peel, and minerality. As the wine opens out, a rich variety of kaffir lime, stone fruits, and lifted floral aromas become apparent. Power and balance are displayed on the palate with restraint. The wine's amazing natural acid drive carries it for a long time and gives the fruit a crystalline clarity, with flavours reminiscent of juicy, ripe citrous and roasted almonds. This remarkable wine is characterised by a superb structure and a restless vitality.
